EPMD had certainly perfected the formula on “Business as Usual.” This was right around the time EPMD hit the apex of their career, and they’d have one more dope album before things really went South, but in this era it truly seemed like they could do no wrong.

So making three albums in three years wasn't easy to do, not to mention that they are constistant year after year. As the title suggests "Business As Usual" is another typical EPMD album. However, if you've forgotten, a typical EPMD album is nothing less than stellar. This is probably their most ignored album. This is just as incredible as their first two, but perhaps lost initial appeal because fans expected the greatness of "Usual" before it was released. Business as Usual is an ironic title for EPMD's third album -- for in terms of production, it was anything but business as usual for the Strong Island rappers.
